TOWN CRIER
The festive evening was well on it's way when all of a sudden: who is it? The sound of a bell? The sound of a hand bell but who could it be? Well, it was Edward Humphrey, the Town Crier! To everyone's surprise, the Crier was hired to deliver an important message, very appropriate for the occasion. A motivating and heart-warming thank you message that we all really appreciated! What a great gift! And funny too! An unforgettable experience!

I had the chance to hire La Bardasse for several cultural and tourism events and the crowds were always extremely pleased with the atmosphere created by the group. Each member of the group brings a certain charm and an energy that inevitably causes the crown to get to the dance floor (and sometimes the tables!) The members of the group obviously have fun doing what they do and their " Joie de vivre" really shines on stage.

After hearing "La Bardasse" at the Festival du Voyageur and enjoying their great music and vitality, I felt we had to arrange for them to be part of our festival in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. my dream became a reality as they performed three times during the Chautauqua & French Festival sponsored by "The Association of the French of the North" (AFRAN). "La Bardasse" was extremely well-received and played to enthusiastic crowds. We would love to have them do an encore performance in the future.
