LA BARDASSE

FRENCH CANADIAN / CELTIC BAND

Proud of their culture and their roots, the members of La Bardasse have gathered around the traditional music that they enjoy so much! Their interpretations of traditional French-Canadian music mix perfectly with a touch of Celtic and Cajun flavour! Based in Saint-Boniface, Manitoba, this group has been sharing it's "joie de vivre", it's music, it's humour and even a bit of history with groups of all ages since 2001.

Bardasser is a french-canadian verb derived from bardas.
This word generally means " To make a ruckus, to be very active". In this case, La Bardasse is a group of fun-loving troubadours that will have guests up dancing, stomping their feet or at the very least, tapping a variety of toes!

BILINGUAL SHOWS

The group is proud to share it's franco-manitoban culture with the public and recognises the importance of offering shows that are accessible to everyone. La Bardasse is pleased to offer the speaking portion of their show in the language of Shakespeare, in that of Molière or both!
